What is 5 1/4 as a simple fraction

No need to put it in simplest form cause its already simplified.

5 1/4 is as simplified as it gets. If you mean an improper fraction than you would multiply the denominater by the whole number (4x5=20) add that 20 to the numerator (20+1=21) and put that over the denominater and you have an improper fraction 21/4 :) I hope this answers your question
