18 divided by 4= 4.5 meters squared
4.5 multiplied by 7= 31.5 meters squared

these ar ratios
4:18=7:x
fractiofy
4/18=7/x
mutply both sides by x
4x/18=7
mulitply bothsides by 18
4x=126
divide both sides by 4
x=31.5
answer is 31.5 m^2
