Frogs reproduce sexually.why do frogs require water to reproduce?

They fertilize and float in the water as eggs until they turn into tadpoles, needing to swim.

They need water for their eggs to thrive. Baby frogs are born with gills and ate basiclly like fish for the first weeks of their lives.
