Stalin's wanted to keep the pressure off of the Soviet. Britain and United States, on the other hand, wanted to damage German territories until they got the Germans trapped into the south by the Mediterranean, and attack them there.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Stalin's thoughts about a second front differed from those of Britain and the United States in that Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin wanted to relieve the pressure the German army was applying to the Russian soldiers, meanwhile, the other Allies such as Great Britain, France, and the United States considered that the focus should be just one front totally focused on defeating Hitler's army. This decision started to create some differences between the Allies and the Soviet Union that later increased during the Yalta Conference.
