KE = 1/2* mass * ( velocity )²

KE = 1/2 * 35 * 3²

KE = 17.5 * 9

KE = 157. 5 J

hope this helps!

' 3 m/s squared ' is not a speed. But we'll ignore the 'squared'
and handle it like a speed of 3 m/s .

Kinetic energy = (1/2) (mass) (speed)²

= (1/2) (35 kg) (3 m/s)²

= (17.5 kg) (9 m²/s²)

= (157.5) (kg-m²/s²)

= 157.5 joules.
