To find the discount price, you multiply the percent by the original cost. Take that product, and subtract the original by the product.
10%= .10
1200 times .10= 120
1200-120= 1080
Answer: $1080

To find it, just take the price and multiply it by the discount. After, you take the answer you got and subtract the original price by the other answer.
