Easy, first find a common denominator,

5: 5,10,15

3: 3,6,9,12,15

The common denominator is 15.

(12)/(5)
-

(2)/(3)

changes into

(12)/(5)* (3)/(3)= (36)/(15)
and

(2)/(3)* (5)/(5) = (10)/(15)

Now you can subtract.

(36)/(15)- (10)/(15)= (26)/(15)

Thus,
(26)/(15) or 1 11/15 is your answer.

= 12/5+-2/3

= 12/5+ -2/3

36/15+-10/15

36-10/15

= 26/15 or as a decimal it will be = 1.7

I hope that's help !
