The set 2,3,6,1.5,45,1 can be represented as follows.

Mean=Average to find the average of a set we must add all the numbers in the set together and divide by the total numbers in the set, like so.
2+3+6+1.5+45+1=58.5 so 58.5/6 is 9.75 so your mean is 9.75

Median= The middle number in this case the set is even so there isnt a middle. So we take the average of the two center numbers 6 and 1.5
6+.15=7.5 and 7.5/2=3.75

Answer:
Mean=9.75
Median=3.75

Hope this helped.

Mean: 9.75. Median: 2.5.To find the mean. Count the number of data points in your data set. Sum up the total of your data set; add them all together. Average = Mean = Sum/Number.The median of a data set can be found by arranging all the values from lowest to highest value and picking the one in the middle.
