Asexual plant reproduction assisted by humans is called VEGETATIVE REPRODUCTION.

Artificial Vegetative Reproduction includes cuttings, grafting, and layering.

Cuttings - a part of a parent plant is cut off at a certain angle. This shoot is helped with a growth promoter to grow its own roots and leaves.

Grafting - two parent plants are used. The cuttings from one parent plant is fused to the other parent plant which is still rooted to the ground. This way the traits of both parent plants are combine and the produced offspring will be the best of both plants.

Layering - a shoot of a parent plant is bent until it is covered with soil. The shoot would then have its own roots and will eventually grow into a new plant. This would then be the time to separate the parent plant from its offspring.
