Clarify the different roles in which the 5 democratic structures play in society

In a South African government, there are 5 practiced democratic structures, they are:

· National Government - functions as the boundary between Constitution and legislation (create and execute laws) which is then passed onto the Parliament.

· Provincial Government - create and execute laws for a specific assigned area

· Local Government –responsible in checking and providing what the community needs

· Traditional Authorities – overseer of the execution of laws and ensuring no one is left out or is done injustice

· Political Parties- where candidates for an electoral position go into
