A covalent bond is a chemical bond where electrons are shared between the atoms.
There are two types:-
Polar → Electrons are not shared equally
Nonpolar → Electrons are shared equally

Put simply, a covalent bond is a chemical bond between two atoms where electron pairs are shared.
