Yes. Seven out of ten is more than half. Anything over 5/10 would be more than half and anything lower than 4/10 is less than half. Just try and think about what the denominator is when it's divided by two.

yes, 7/10=0.7 1/2=0.5
0.7>0.5
therefore, 7/10>1/2, therefore more than half of the human body is composed of water
