5x+2y=2\\ 6x+y=8\\\\5x+2y=2\\ y=8-6x\\\\ 5x+2(8-6x)=2\\ 5x+16-12x=2\\ -7x=-14\\ x=2\\\\ y=8-6\cdot2\\ y=8-12\\ y=-4
