Kinetic Energy = 1/2 * mv²

Kinetic Energy = 14 J, v = 2.3 m/s , m = ?

14 = 1/2 * m* 2.3²

14 = 0.5*m*2.3*2.3

m = 14 / (0.5*2.3*2.3)

m = 5.29 kg.

Mass = 5.29 kg.

Answer: 5.28kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by a body due to virtue of its motion.

Kinetic energy = 1/2MV²

Where M is the mass of the body

V is the velocity

Given Kinetic energy = 14Joules

Velocity = 2.3m/s

Substituting this values into the formula to get mass,

14 = 1/2M(2.3)²

14 = 2.65M

M = 14/2.65

M = 5.28kg

The mass of the bird is 5.28kg
