If they have 386 cards altogether, subtract one of the numbers that you know make up the sum. In this case, it'd be 221. So, you'd do 386-221. Which would be 165.

enrique=221
subsitute
221+levi=386
subtract 221 frm botoh sides
levi=386-221
levi=165

levi has 165 cards
