Given:
Octagon-shaped patio
Side length = 24ft
apothem length = 60ft
Area of a regular octagon = 2 * a² * (1 + √2)
a = side length
A = 2 * (24ft)² * (1 + √2)
A = 2 * 576ft² * (1 + 1.414)
A = 2 * 576ft² * 2.414
A = 2,780.93 ft²
