Explain the difference between a monomial, a binomial, and a trinomial.

From the problem, we have the following terminologies.

Monomial, Binomial and Trinomial

It refers to the number of terms in an expression.

From the word mono which means 1, Bi means 2 and Tri means 3.

So a monomial has only 1 term, binomial has 2 terms and trinomial has 3 terms

Example :

Monomial : 3x

Binomial : 3x + 2y

Trinomial : 3x + 2y + 4z
