A bag contains 8 black pens and 6 blue pens. What is the ratio, written in lowest terms, of black pens to the total number of pens in the bag?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the ratio would be 4:7...the ratio you'd start with would be 8:14 then when you put it in it's lowest term its 4:7.
