I think the answer is 20 because,
3×2=6, 4×2=8, 6×2=12, 10×2=20

the next number would be 20. the pattern goes times 2 minus 2 times 2 minus 2 and so on. so the last one was minus 2 so times 2 10 times 2 is 20
