(312)₄ + (52)x = 96
(312)₄ = 2.4⁰ + 1.4¹ + 3.4² = 2 + 4 + 48 = 54
(52)x = 2.x⁰ + 5.x¹ = 2 + 5x
54+2+5x=96
56+5x=96
5x=96-56
5x=40
x=8
