(√ 2 x + 10 ) - 6 = 2
Simplify the radical equation :
Add 6 to both sides
√ ( 2 x + 10) - 6 + 6 = 2 + 6
√ ( 2x + 10) = 8
Square both sides
(√2 x + 10 )² = 8²
Refine :
2 x + 10 = 64
2 x = 64 - 10
2 x = 54
x = 54 / 2
x = 27
hope this helps!
