one pint is equivalent to 0.473 How many liters are in a pint? are 0.47 and 0.5 liters in a pint the same if so how?

It's not the same. 0.473 is 0.473 and 0.5 is 0.500, there is 0.027 liters difference. Bartenders just round it up - it's probably their way to save some money because they get extra pint for every 18.5 pints :)
