36 liters of oil fill 4 identical cans. How many does each hold?
36 ÷ 4 = 9
Each can holds 9 liters.
Check:-
9 × 4 = 36
Correct!

so 36 fill 4 identical cans
36 divided into 4 parts
36/4=18/2=9/1=9
answer is each can holds 9 liters of oil
