2.

volume of a pyramid = 1/3* B * h

B = base area = area of a square = side lenght ^2=16^2

heigth = h

To find height apply the Pythagorean theorem

c^2 = a^2+b^2

10^2 = 8^2+ h^2

100 = 64+h^2

100-64 = h^2

36 =h^2

√36 = h

h=6

V = 1/3 * 16^2*6 = 512 units 3

Surface Area = B + 1/2 p s

p = perimeter of the base = 16x4 = 64

s = slant heigth = 10

SA = 16^2+ 1/2 (64)10 = 256+ 320= 576 units2

Lateral Area = LA

LA = 1/2 Ps = 1/2 (64) 10 = 320
