Ok, we are going to calculate the area of one side, and next we are going to multiplicate by two because the problem says "both sides".

The formula is area of an rectangle: base*height.

\text{Area}=6\cdot220\text{ = 1320 ft}

Multiplying by 2:

\text{Total Area=1320}\cdot2=2640\text{ ft}

The total area to be painted is 2840 ft.
