You mix oil and vinegar for a salad dressing. After a few minutes , the oil has separated and is floating. Infer which has the greater density oil or vineger. Explain

The vinegar has a higher density. We can conclude this because objects with higher density tend to sink to the bottom, like a rock in a lake, and objects with lower density tend to float, such as a beach ball in the ocean. Therefore, if the oil floats and the vinegar sinks, the oil must be less dense than the vinegar.
