so what they want is to undistribute
ab+ac=a(b+c)
but they want their gcf or greatest common factor as 'a' so
27=3 times 3itme s3
18=2 times 3 times 3
gcf=3 times 3=9
27/9=3
18/9=2
27+18=9(3+2)=9(5)=45
