Since the figure A lies in the first quadrant, notice the following:

- A rotation of 90° counterclockwise would move the figure to the second quadrant.

- A rotation of 180° counterclockwise would move the figure to the third quadrant.

- A rotation of 270° counterclockwise would move the figure to the fourth quadrant.

Since the figure B lies in the fourth quadrant, then the figure A must be rotated 270° counterclockwise in order to line up with figure B.
