One batch of vegetable soup used 2 cups of chopped onions 1.5 cups of chopped celery and one cup of chopped carrots celery each ratio that'll help a chef compare cups of chopped carrots to total cups of chopped vegetables

To compare the ratios, first you have to find the total. Add all of them together:

2 + 1.5 + 1 = 4.5

So, out of 4.5 cups of chopped vegetables, 1 cup of it is carrots:
