Given:
Ratio of students with dog or cat to students without dog or cat.
12 : 8
12 + 8 = 20
20 is the 100%
12/20 = 0.60 x 100% = 60% with dog or cat
8/20 = 0.40 x 100% =
40% without dog or cat ANSWER IS B.
