Group of friends wants to got amusement park

Let x be the number of people in the group

They have no more money than $140 to spend on parking and admission.

Total money they had = $140

Parking = $6.50

Cost of tieckts for each person = $22.25

So, the cost for x person = %22.25x

Total money spend = Parking charges + Admission charges

Total money spend = 6.50 + 22.25x

Total money they can spend is 140 dollars So,

The inequality will be : 22.25x + 6.50 ≤ 140

Simplify the inequality:

\begin{gathered} 22.25x\text{ + 6.50}\leq140 \\ 22.25x\text{ }\leq140-6.50 \\ 22.25x\leq133.5 \\ x\leq(133.5)/(22.25) \\ x\leq6 \end{gathered}

So, The number if people in the group cannot be more than 6
