A customer wants to tip 15% on a restaurant bill that is $35. What will the total bill be including the tip? Round to the nearest cent if necessary

You turn 15% into a decimal which is .15. Then multiply the $35 by .15 and you get 5.25.Then add that to 35 and you get $40.25.

First we have to find out what the amount the customer is tipping is. To do this, we multiply the percentage of tip times the total bill.

Note: 15% = 0.15

0.15 * 35 = 5.25

Therefore, the customer is tipping $5.25.

To find the total bill, we add the tip and the regular bill together.

35 + 5.25 = $40.25

Therefore, the customer's total bill, including the tip is $40.25.
