The sides of a fair cubical die are numbered 2, 3, 4, 4, and 5. The die is thrown twice and the outcomes are added to give a total T.Construct a table for the probability distribution of T

Okey, here is a list of all the posible combinations when you throw the die two times. Then I makde the sum for T and I put the probablitity of each result

Is only missing to add the probablitity for each value of T

So in most of the cases is 0.04 because:

0,04=(1)/(5)\cdot(1)/(5)

The probability of geting any number is 1/5, then to get an exact combination you have to multiply both cases.

For 4, as there where two 4 you multiply the probability times 2, 2/5

The sides of a fair cubical die are numbered 2, 3, 4, 4, and 5. The die is thrown-example-1
