the Columbian exchange was so important because some of the items were introduced to America. there was also some disease that was transferred. it was called Columbian exchange because it dealt with Columbian's explorations.

It is so important because it has changed the life better. If the Colombian exchange didn't exist, we wouldn't eat hamburgers and hot dogs because there was no wheat or pigs that time.
