the treaty was the treaty of Ghent
The War of 1812 was a military conflict, lasting for two and a half years. The British won by losing no territories and achieving their great war goal, the total defeat of Napoleon. this treaty was signed 12/24/1814

The treaty that ended the war was the treaty of Ghent between U.S. and Britain.The treaty was signed December 24th 1814. It contained Congressional publications
including debates, bills, laws, and journals.
