Meteorites remains are mostly common in Antarctica. The reason to why so many are found in this location is due to the fact that Antarctica is covered in snow and ice. Black meteorites are easy to spot and retrieve than finding them in a camouflage environment or urban area. small meteors land on the ice sheet of a glacier, and it's carried along. Snow falls on it, forming ice, then for 10's, 100's, or 1000's of years, it's carried along with the glacier, until it reaches the point where it melts. Any rock that is embedded in ice for several years have more chances of becoming Meteorites.
