Given the following Compound inequality:


103As you can notice, the Compound inequality contains two inequalities.<p></p><p>In order to solve this exercise you need to follow these steps:</p><p></p><p>1. Find the midpoint between the the extremes of the inequality, as following:</p>[tex](103+175.1)/(2)=139.05

2. No wyou need to subtract the value obtained above from each part of the Compound inequality:


\begin{gathered} 103-(139.05)3. Writing it as an Absolute value inequality, you get that this is:[tex]|x-139.5|<36.05

The answer is:
