For clarification, I will put how Ive interpreted this equation:

8x-2x+2= (1)/(3)(9x+3)+7
This can be solved by simplifying and rearranging:

6x+2= (9x)/(3)+ (3)/(3)+7 \\ 6x+2=3x+1+7 \\ 3x+2=8 \\ 3x=6 \\ \boxed{x=2}
