Total area of the cube = 6s² (s=side)

96 = 6s²

s² = 96 ÷ 6

s² = 16

s = √16

s = 4 in

V = s³

V = 4³

V = 64 in³

Answer:

Volume of the cube = 64 in³

Explanation:

Let the side of a cube = x in

Then the area of the cube = 6×(side)² = 6x²

Given area = 96 square in

6x² = 96

x² = 96/6 = 16

x = 4 in

Now volume of the cube = side³ = 4³ = 64 in³

Therefore option B. 64 cubic in.
