force F=6.0 N
momentum of object= 3.0 KGM/S
solution:
forces cause changes in the momentum of an object
newton's second law tells us:
F=ma =Δ(mv)/Δt
so, Δt=Δ(mv)/F
=3kgm/s/6N = 0.5 s
answer: the force act on the mass for 0.5 S
