A rectangular sheet of cardboard 132 cm x 50 cm is rolled along its length and a cylinder is formed. Find the radius of the base of the cylinder.

Since it is rolled via it's length, the circumference of the circle must be 50 cm.

The formula for the circumference is 2
\pi r

50 = 2
\pi r
25 =
\pi r
7.95774715459 = r

Your radius should be approximently 7.96 cm. Hope this helps!
