The findings that is consistent with hypofunctioning of the adrenal gland is that if there is a low output of ACTH or also known as the adrenocorticotropin. It is because when this is associated with it, it will likely that the ACTH production will be low that would make the cortisol of the individual to drop. And by that, the adrenal glands will likely shrink because of the reason that it lacks the ACTH which is important to it.
