(–1, 4) to (–4, 1) and (4, 1) to (–1, –4)
so
The rule is (x,y) --> (-y,-x)

The reflection over y = - x

hope it helps

Answer:

reflection rule across the line y.

Explanation:

Given : A line segment has endpoints at (–1, 4) and (4, 1).

Given : Which reflection will produce an image with endpoints.

Solution : We have given endpoints at (–1, 4) and (4, 1).

By the reflection rule across the line y , ( x ,y ) →→ ( -y , -x ).

We can see

(–1, 4) →→ (–4, 1)

(4, 1) →→ (–1, –4).

Therefore, reflection rule across the line y.
