Greetings and Happy Holidays!

Solve for x.

3.75x+3.7=1.7+1.75x

Add -3.7 to both sides.

(3.75x+3.7)+(-3.7)=(1.7+1.75x)+(-3.7)

3.75x=1.75x-2

Add -1.75x to both sides.

(3.75x)+(-1.75x)=(1.75x-2)+(-1.75x)

2x=-2

Divide both sides by 2.

(2x)/(2)=(-2)/(2)

x=-1

The Answer Is:

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}x=-1\end{array}\right]

Hope this helped!
