it might be stated that the Crusades contributed to the spreading of trades and knowledge in Europe. This situation changed Europe´s economy and was the trigger the feudalism breakdown as knights sent their serfs free. What is more, it allows an exchange of ideas between the East and the West which lead to the Renaissance movement.
