\bf \begin{array}l x&0&\underline{1.3}&2.6&3.9&\underline{5.2}\\\\ y&0&\underline{1}&2&3&\underline{4} \end{array}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ \begin{array}{ccccccccc} &&x_1&&y_1&&x_2&&y_2\\ % (a,b) &&(~{{ 1.3}} &,&{{ 1}}~) % (c,d) &&(~{{5.2}} &,&{{ 4}}~) \end{array} \\\\\\ % slope = m slope = {{ m}}\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{{{ y_2}}-{{ y_1}}}}{\stackrel{run}{{{ x_2}}-{{ x_1}}}}\implies \cfrac{4-1}{5.2-1.3}\implies \cfrac{3}{3.9}

simply pick two points to get the slope.

as far as graphing it, well, is a line, so to graph a line all you need is two points, so you have four there, pick any two points and graph a line through them.

The slope of the line is given by the equation:

( y_(2)- y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1))

I chose the points (0, 0), and (1.3, 1) to get:

(1-0)/(1.3-0)

Which is approximately equal to 0.76923. That would be the slope of the line. I don't know how accurate they want it to be.

To graph the line, I would put the first point at (0, 0) or the origin, and the second point at any point from the table.

If you have further question, I will be here to clarify!
