It would be 27.25 square feet.
I divided 599.5 by 22 and got the length of the garden: 27.25

Answer:

length of the garden is 27.25 feet

Explanation:

Given: Marcel Park is weeding the rectangular vegetable garden. The garden has an area of 599.5 square feet.

To Find: If the garden is 22 feet wide,how long is the garden.

Solution:

Area of Garden is
= 599.5 square feet

width of garden is
= 22 feet

We know that,

As garden is rectangular

Area of garden is
= \text{length}*\text{width}

putting values in equation,

599.5 = 22*\text{length}

\text{length}=(599.5)/(22)

\text{length}=27.25

Therefore the length of the garden is
27.25
\text{feet}
