Eli Whitney revolutionized the industrialization by inventing the standardized and interchangeable parts. Things like cotton gin are invented by Eli Whitney and he had to fight for its patent infringement. He later collaborated with government in manufacturing the muskets for US Army.

Eli Whitney first gained his fame by inventing the First model of Cotton Gin, which influence the economic growth in southern states between the period of 1790s. Due to its success, many people started to copy parts of whitney's invention in the production of other products.
