to find the price of one towel, all you have too do is just divide 39.60 by 8 and it will give you 4.95, so the cost for one towel is $4.95.

To find the unit rate, just divide 39.60 by 8 to get what the cost was per towel:
39.60/8=4.95
it cost 4.95 per towel
