x * (x + 3) = 15
x^2 +3x -15 = 0
x = -3 +-sqrt(9 -4*1*-15) / (2*1)
x = -3 +- sqrt(69) / 2
x = -3 +-8.3066 / 2
x = 5.3066/2
x = 2.6533
So, the rectangle is 2.6533 inches by 5.6533 inches.
